Today, the most moving thing I heard was “Aspire to Inspire before you Expire!” This statement has now made me think….thief hints I love, the things that drive me are not the things that some of the people around me are interested.
If the people you have around are in no way involved or do not follow your dreams and your desires or your goals then they WILL drag you down.
Last few weeks I’ve been losing an enormous about of energy because I have been working hard and not smart. But I am also realizing that my team and I are not on the same page and us I become drained at the end of the day.
Whatever you attain to do ensure your team and those you are working with have the same goals. If not then you have expired your inspiration to these and you need to reassess.
It is unfortunate that people don’t understand the value of teamwork and not thinking they can do bad all by themselves.
Without proper communication and clear definition to the cause of the group, how do we expect to make the team work.
I am more than disgusted to see people work with me and they neither like to take criticism and or know how to appreciate another’s opinion.
WOULD SOMEONE LIKE TO TELL ME HOW TO MANAGE THESE TYPE OF PEOPLE?
If we are a team, we need to know how to take every action in strides and be able to accept what everyone else around has to say. Once we have been able to move past the isms and skisims of people’s personal problems, life and work would be easier to handle
In life we all want to be the best at whatever it is that we aim at….but our habits can either break us or make us. Robert Ringer says “Remember, life is nothing more than the sum total of many successful years; a successful year is nothing more than the sum total of many successful months; a successful month is nothing more than the sum total of many successful weeks; a successful week is nothing more than the sum total of many successful days.”
Let’s check our habits to make sure we don’t destroy not only ourselves but the teams we work with.
There will be times when playing the role of manager is so very important…..don’t get me wrong, managerial duties are extremely important. Sometimes as he leader one has to sit back , watch and listen. I mean who can hear anything anybody is saying if we are all shouting across the room, talking at the same time, murmuring under our breathes?
At that moment, just sit down and still, listen to what is being argued or complained about. See how best you can get a hang on solving the problem, cause truth be told, the only reason there is a problem is because…duh nobody is listening.
Say to your team, “guys stop and let’s start over, one by one, what are your thoughts?”
Good to be creative, good to have ideas but you need much more for you to deliver a good business pitch.
